Pussy Willow trees are ready for spring

February is a time of anticipation for spring and summer colour in the garden. There are, however plants that can liven up your garden with colour even in this grey month. Hellebores come in an array of colours to brighten up your borders with either simple single flowers or dramatic double flowers.
Signs of spring
Sunshine brings on the signs of spring. Miniture bearded irisises are some of the first colours bursting into our gardens in February. Their fresh blue colour is wonderful to the eyes, seen here nestled infront of Heuchera “Black Berry Jam”
The First Crocus of the year at Cramden Nursery
It is great to see the first crocus flowers coming through on our window boxes at Cramden Nursery, the snowdrops are also out. Life is bursting into action everywhere.
