OUT DOOT SALES AREA

This area has been developed from a display area for trials of Pelargoniums, to a covered area for the sale of the new lines we have intorduced to the nursery in 2007 and 2008.

In this area we shall be selling: Agapanthus , Lavenders , Penstemons and Erodiums all in 2 litre pots.

This is a very different direction for the nursery as we have predominately only grown geraniums and Pelargoniums here at the nursery.

We aim to be able to offer our customers a wide range of the above new lines and develop these ranges as we get to know the plants and learn what they can offer to the gardener.

At the moment this area has just been laid out with new timber benches which look very smart but very empty and a little imtimidating. I hope I have enough plants to fill them! All the plants are happily growing under cold glass and in the pollytunnel and looking very healthy and happy.

PLANT FAIRS

Throughout the summer we attend local “Plant Fairs”. It’s a good chance to get out and meet new people and get involved with such organisations such as the Hardy Plants Society. They are always a good day out rain or shine.

OPEN EVENINGS AT THE NURSERY

Would you like to know more about the plants we grow?

To learn how to over winter you’re Pelargoniums and how and when is the best time to take cuttings?

Then you should book yourself on one of our “Evening Talks”.

We have set up some dates for evening talks through out the month of August.

These evenings will provide a chance to learn more about geraniums and Pelargoniums and the different types we grow here on the nursery. As well as information on taking cuttings, over wintering techniques and their cultural needs to help them grow and flower all summer long. With a question time at the end where we will do our best to answer queries and help with any problems you may have encountered with your Pelargoniums.

These sessions will have limited numbers and places and will have to be booked in advance.

Price per person is £5 to paid on booking.
